Modera Salesfront makes it easy to calculate your profit from the deal by considering different components of the vehicle offer price. Deal profit calculation is based on following figures:
- Vehicle retail price
- Vehicle purchase price set in PDM
- Vehile transportation cost - also set in PDM
- Trade-vehicle cost including residual debt, etc. (if included in the offer)
- Customer discount
- Additional costs and bonuses
To access Profit calculator open vehicle offer detail view. Switch to "Trade-in" tab and click on the offer price in the lower left corner of the offer detail view pop up window.
You will see a "Price adjustment" pop up window with profit value calculated based on available figures per vehicle. Click on the profit value to see where the figure is derived from.
You will see a list of numbers used in the calculation and profit calculated as a number and percentage value. While you cannot edit vehicle costs from this view, you can still manage customer discount and extra costs and bonuses.
To add customer discount click on customer dicount value and adjust it.
To add any additional costs or bonuses click on "Add bonus or cost" button with a green plus sign licated in the lower right corner of the Profit calculation detail wondow. New line wil appear in the calculation list. Click on bonus/cost name and value to edit them. To remove a cost click on a cross next to it.
Once done with adjustments close Profit calculation details window and click "Apply price adjustments".
